Background:
Robert, a native Virginian, realistically portrays the stark, yet subtle, feel of the rural South. His love for the Blue Ridge Mountains and their surroundings has inspired thim thoughout his career. This award-winning artist has had work selected for the NC Game Commissions Sportsman Stamp, Wendell NC Ducks Unlimited Art Print of the Year, NC Wildlife Federations Art Print of the Year, and the Designer Print of the Year. His work has been featured in Virginia Wildlife Magazine, North State Magazine, North Carolina Sportsman Magazine, Weyerhauser Timber Products Wildlife Calendar and Wildlife in North Carolina Magazine's Annual Wildlife Calendar since 1989. Robert was commissioned by Integon Insurance Corp. to paint St. David's Church in Austin, Texas, for the annual corporate Christmas card.
